After 4 years shutdown..

Dear friends,

We are very happy to let you know that UFM Kuru is starting again after 4 years shutdown, Lucy and I (Ivan) is back in Nigeria to start the work again, we came to Nigeria December 28, 2017.

we have been going to pray in the rehabilitation center, along with the staff that lives there with her daughters. We have accessed the damage and what needs to be done before bringing in disciples(clients). There is a great need for counseling of addictive behaviors in Jos and Nigeria. We have an epidemic of both our young men and women into the drug called Tramol and a local drug called goskolo. It’s very very heart breaking to see how a whole generation of our young people being destroyed by this addiction. And that is the most reason why the ministry of UFM must be up and going. Many people are already approaching us and asking to bring their wards but we cannot at present because the property is in a very, very bad shape and poor condition as seen in the photos, and is in urgent need of fixing.

The immediate challenge we have is that the property is infested with lots and lots of bees. There are four locations of bees that needs to be taken care of before doing anything at all. Instead of just killing them, God has given us an idea to start a bee farming business. We have just concluded a two days bee keeping training. We paid a professional who came and gave us a two days training. We have harvested 7 buckets of honey:). Hallelujah!!! We also have bought materials and set up some hives. It took us 4 nights to finish harvesting with lots of painful stings. Ouch!
